Dr. Brett Winchester
When not practicing at Winchester-Hilgefort, Dr. Winchester is on the road to reach his teaching destination located at the forefront of integrated health care.
Dr. Winchester currently lectures for Logan College of Chiropractic, the Motion Palpation Institute, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, The Chiropractic Rehabilitation Diplomate, to name a few. Dr. Winchester’s studies and lectures have taken him to England, Prague and across the United States to instruct physicians, therapists and students on the latest manual therapy research and integrative techniques.
In his free time, Dr. Winchester enjoys spending time with his family, including wife Cheri Thornhill Winchester, a longtime resident of Lincoln County, and daughter Grace. His hobbies include cycling, snow and water skiing, soccer, tennis and reading.
Dr. Winchester received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic (www.logan.edu).

Dr. Matt Hilgefort
Prior to his Missouri arrival, Dr. Hilgefort practiced in the mountains of Vail, Colorado. While in Colorado, Dr. Hilgefort treated numerous athletes, including members of the U.S. Disabled Ski Team, U.S. Olympic Snowboard Team, professional snowboarders and freestyle skiers, World Cup downhill skiers, World Cup mountain bike racers, former NHL players, tri-athletes, eco-challenge adventure racers, ultra-marathon runners and various amateur athletes and weekend warriors.
As a former collegiate All-American athlete and certified strength and conditioning specialist, Dr. Hilgefort’s knowledge of body mechanics and athletic training helps patients maximize performance while reducing risk of injury. Dr. Hilgefort also is proficient in his knowledge of and treatment for nerve disorders, studying under Michael Shacklock, author of Clinical Neurodynamics, the world’s best selling book on treating painful nerve conditions. Outside the clinic, Dr. Hilgefort teaches advanced biomechanics at Logan College of Chiropractic. He enjoys spending free time with his family, including wife Erica, who works as a speech pathologist for the R-III School District; children Emily and Harrison; hiking with the family dog Wylie; biking; snowboarding; reading; and visiting family in Indiana.
