Dr. Brett Winchester and the staff of Winchester
Chiropractic are excited to announce the arrival of Dr. Matthew
T. Hilgefort to Winchester Chiropractic. Dr. Hilgefort is
returning home the the Midwest after practicing in the mountains
of Vail, Colo., for the past several years. Dr. Hilgefort
will begin treating patients at Winchester Chiropractic on
June 28, 2004.
While in Colorado, Dr. Hilgefort treated numerous
athletes, including members of the U.S. Disabled Ski Team,
U.S. Olympic Snowboard Team, professional snowboarders and
freestyle skiers. World Cup downhill skiers, World Cup mountain
bike racers, former NHL players, triathletes, eco-challenge
adventure racers, ultra-marathon runners and various amateur
athletes and weekend warriors. Given the active nature of
his former patients, Dr. Hilgefort is experienced with managing
a wide range of injuries.
In addition to treating spinal conditions,
Dr. Hilgefort also addresses everyday aches and pains that
affect other areas of the body. Be it an ACL tear in the knee,
or a rotator cuff tear in the shoulder, Dr. Hilgefort has
the experience and background to accurately and effectively
diagnose and manage injuries often not associated with chiropractic
care.
According to Dr. Hilgefort, when muscles get
strained or overworked, innovative treatments like Active
Release Technique (ART) are just what the doctored ordered.
